About

Joe Dahut is a poet, essayist, and teacher living and writing in Rhode Island. Prior to that, he was a collegiate pitcher at Drew University, where he earned his BA in English, and a fly fishing guide in Kodiak, Alaska. He earned his MFA in Poetry from New York University, where he taught creative writing. Joe's poetry is published in North American Review, The Shore, Saw Palm, and Little Patuxent Review, among others. He is a senior contributor for The Drake Magazine and a regular contributor for The FlyFish Journal.

Joe has worked with companies like Sage, Untamed Angling, Redington, and others to produce meaningful and effective copywriting for marketing campaigns and social media in the fly fishing space.
